Born 1949 in Hatzfeld (Eder), Germany.
Since the eighties self-tuition occupation with painting and graphic. Single exhibitions in Frankfurt, Marburg, Bad Berleburg. Different exhibitions in the former gallery Pfeiffer, Biedenkopf. Participation on different art markets in Marburg und Frankenberg.
Lives and works as free graphic artist in Hatzfeld.
Brush, colours, crayon, paper and canvas I exchanged in the meantime with mouse, graphic tablet and monitor. Above all busy in the DTP area, the meteoric technical development opened for me an effective and creative graphic work with the computer. Meanwhile screen and web design complement the creation of poster and CD covers.
Favourite subjects are portrait and still life. Daily objects obtain a mysterious, phantastic meaning in this new context. Portraits are combined with contrasting structures, which can be understood as metaphor over their own aesthetics.
