Born 1963 in Goslar. Studied graphic design between 1984 and 1988 at the Technical College Hannover. Lives since 1991 in Goslar und works as designer for a local newspaper. Profound bizarre fantasy worlds fascinates him since childhood. Wilhelm Busch was his first important influence, later he felt inspired by Hieronymus Bosch, Goya and the surrealists. His special interest are filigree pen drawings, especially in alliance with water colors and colour pens. Some experimental excursions in acryl- and oil colour painting. Additional he is using every chance to improve his knowledge in the art of etching.
