Born on the island Heligoland 1938, Jürgen Krings started in later times the fine arts. 1982 first efforts in water colour painting, 1992 in oil painting. His main subjects are the sea, his birthplace Heligoland and fishing. Til today he created more than 60 oil paintings. Recently he is creating sculptures, too.
Jürgen Krings and his wife Angelika are living til today on the island Heligoland. You can often meet them at the lobster booth 33, the art gallery of the artist group PARADOX.
